How can I upgrade to Afterpay Plus?

To become an Afterpay Plus subscriber you must meet our eligibility criteria, including a satisfactory credit risk assessment. If you are eligible to apply, you will see a banner in the My Afterpay tab in the app.

Do I still use my Afterpay Card if I subscribe to Afterpay Plus?

Afterpay Plus subscribers will be upgraded and issued a new digital card which automatically replaces the standard Afterpay Card in your phone’s wallet.

How much does Afterpay Plus cost?

Subscription costs $9.99 a month, and Afterpay late fees may also apply.

Where can I use the Afterpay Plus Card?

Your digital Afterpay Plus Card can be used almost anywhere Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay is accepted. Certain merchant, product, goods, and service restrictions apply.

Restricted merchants include but are not limited to Gambling, Adult Services, Telemarketing and some financial related transactions (e.g. money transfers).

Can I pause my Afterpay Plus subscription?

Yes! You can pause your subscription for up to 3 months. Your Afterpay Plus Card will be downgraded to a standard Afterpay Card when your billing cycle ends, and will only work in-store at participating Afterpay retailers.

How much can I spend with Afterpay Plus?

The amount you can spend with Afterpay Plus is the same as your Afterpay 'available to spend'. You can view your 'available to spend' in the My Afterpay tab in the app.

What is the Afterpay Plus promotion?
Newly approved Afterpay Plus subscribers will get their first 3 months of Afterpay Plus free when they sign up during the promotion period.

Check the Afterpay app for eligibility dates - the offer will be displayed in a promotional banner until the promotion ends.

After your free 3-month period ends, your Afterpay Plus subscription will automatically continue at the regular monthly price of $9.99. You can cancel your subscription at any time.

Who is eligible for the promotion?

The promotion is available to new eligible Afterpay Plus customers who upgrade to Afterpay Plus within the Afterpay app during the promotion period. Standard eligibility criteria for Afterpay Plus applies.

How do I claim the 3 months free?
You can apply for the offer via the Afterpay app. You should see a banner to apply to subscribe to Afterpay Plus within the My Afterpay tab within the app. The promotion will be automatically applied when you subscribe - there is no code required.

Why can’t I see the offer in the app?
This promotion is only available to new eligible Afterpay Plus subscribers who have never had an Afterpay Plus subscription before. Standard eligibility criteria for Afterpay Plus also applies.
